You can fish and crab in the river. Bream, grunter, tailor, mackerel, Queenies, Barramundi,
Flathead, whiting, mangrove jack, prawns and mudcrabs.
The billabong across the Rd is stocked with Barramundi and Perch and you are allowed to fish there too.
The courtesy bus for the pub and also the bowls club stop right outside the door.
Hervey Bay is only 33km away.
