About this property

Apurla Hervey Bay has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, formal dining/lounge, family room and the double garage has a 7 foot slate pool table and gym equipment. We have a beautiful outdoor entertainment area with a built in pool and a separate pond. Extra bed is the futon in the formal lounge area.
Point Vernon is a residential area at the top of the Bay. We have a restaurant at Gatakers Bay with superb water views.We are also within walking distance to the local shops; which include a supermarket, hairdresser, butcher and fish & chip shop.There is a doctor's surgery and pharmacy within walking distance as well as a general store/takeaway. A few minutes walk to The Esplanade and you can have breakfast or morning tea, overlooking the water, at a great cafe that always has great reviews.
Point Vernon also has beautiful parkland areas where you can BBQ or picnic and the choice of 3 parks for the kids with playground equipment. Gatakers Bay also has a boat ramp, if you want to bring a boat and go fishing, alternatively you can fish off the beach for Flathead & Bream etc.
Keen on playing a round of golf, Hervey Bay Golf & Country Club is only a 2 minute drive away and you can also have dinner there.
Hervey Bay Water Park and Adventure Playground is a 3 minute drive away, great place to take the kids, especially the younger ones.
We are a 5 minute drive to Pialba, the central business and shopping district with Stockland Shopping Centre & Pialba Place. We have Woolworths, Coles and Aldi Supermarkets, The Tavern, RSL Club and Cinemas as well as many other shops and businesses.
It is approximately 15 minutes to Urangan at the other end of town. Here you will find the Boat Harbour, Boat Club and numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. The iconic Pier is also located on The Esplanade at Urangan.
In between Point Vernon and Urangan is Scarness and Torquay which both have parkland, shops, hotels and restaurants and cafes.
There is a local bus that picks up in Point Vernon. You also have the choice of taxi, limousine and Dial a Driver for when you want to go out and have a drink without having to have a designated driver. They will pick up you and your car and drive you home.
