Hervey Bay Go Kart Track

Established in 1990, the 650 metre Hervey Bay Go Kart Track is self drive from nine to 90 years. Tandem karts are available so Mum or Dad can take the younger ones for a ride. This is an activity the whole family can enjoy. There is a viewing platform for observation and photo opportunities and drinks, chips and a barbecue is available so you can stay all day long. Group bookings and private functions are catered for although a booking is essential.

Hervey Bay Historical Village and Museum

The Hervey Bay Historical Village and Museum features 20 historical buildings housing over 8,000 exhibits from the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay area; these exhibits include a fully-furnished slab cottage, built in 1898, the Goodwood Railway Station, the first Dundowran Hall, the original Dundowran State School, a fully equipped blacksmith shop, cane harvesting machinery, horse drawn buggies shed, restored IHC three horse power engine, petrol driven washing machine, school and music room, and Hervey Bay's original Methodist Church, built in 1901, and now available for weddings.

The Pier Restaurant's cocktail lounge is the perfect place to experience the best food and service available. Roy Rufus Artificial Reef Dive Site

Explore 'Roy Rufus' in Hervey Bay, the largest artificial reef in the southern hemisphere created through the sinking of old ships, concrete blocks and car bodies since 1968. Located off the coast between Hervey Bay & Fraser Island, the reef is home to masses of fish such as gropers, coral trout, kingfish and scorpionfish that congregate amongst the wreckage. Other marine life observed on the reef include, wobbegongs, sea snakes, turtles and the occasional dugong.
