545 - Waters Edge Cottage. On the Esplanade

This is a NEW, purpose built, free standing Cottage. One of five cottages and apartments available at 545 Esplanade. We offer FREE, FAST, RELIABLE & UNLIMITED WIFI to guests. It's own car/boat port next to your cottage, private washing line and grassed area. Your private and tranquil deck will be a perfect sunny spot to kick off your shoes and relax. The car and/or boat port is great for security right next to your cottage. Large enough for both boat and car (max width 2.4 m), tap and hose fittings for boat washing.
You have your own washing machine and washing liquid, pegs and laundry basket are supplied.
We supply a light breakfast of cereal and fresh milk and also teas/coffee and sugar.
The queen size bed and single beds are very comfortable and all beds have freshly laundered and pressed linen to add a bit of luxury to your stay as well as fluffy white towels to give you that hotel feel. Beach towels are also provided.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast and the bathroom is set out for safe and easy access to the shower, perfect for people who are less sturdy on their feet.
Whale Watching Season kicks off mid July and finishes at the end of October. If this has been on your bucket list then spend some time with us enjoying our beautiful sunny Queensland winter days and experience these majestic and wonderful creatures close up. Hervey Bay is known as the 'Best Place for Close Encounters with Whales' in the world and it won't disappoint!
Being on the Esplanade, you have a bus running every hour to the main shopping area and onto Maryborough. The larger clubs such as the Boat Club, RSL and beach House all have regular a courtesy bus which will pick up and drop you back home free of charge. The Fraser Island Tours and Whale Watching Tours will pick up and drop off near enough outside your apartment so no need to walk too far. Hervey Bay is also lucky enough to have several Driver 05 services which are fantastic. You drive to your destination (within Hervey Bay) and they will drive you and your car back at the same rate as a taxi. Fraser Coast Airport is a 10 minute drive from the Esplanade, taxis are available.
URANGAN Shopping Centre is a 2 minute ride away which has everything you may require including a Post Office, Chemist, Newsagent, Bottle Shop, Butchers and Woolworths. You also have Cafes, Bakers, Pubs and restaurants in walking distance.
The 17 kilometre shared walkway and cycle way along the Esplanade is perfect if you want to hire bikes which are close at hand too.
The Botanical Gardens are in walking distance and is home to aquatic wildlife and bird life. These gardens have much improved over the last 3 years and also has a Chinese Garden and Orchid House.
