Completed in April 2021 Crab Cottages by the Seafront offer two luxurious free standing 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday cottages and one 1 bedroom option.
The neighbourhood is very quiet with the nearest shopping centre and supermarket 1.5 km and the Marina with bars, restaurants, the Hervey Bay Boat Club and major boat ramp about 600 metres distant. Both are close enough yet far enough.
The Hervey Bay Marina is the departure point for nearly all of the Whale Watch and Fraser excursion tours and the famous Urangan Pier is a 25-30 minute very pleasant stroll.
Note there are no shops, restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity. Several dining options are available at the Marina and Boat Club and there are a number of delivery options.
The property is completely smoke free and wheelchair access is currently unavailable.
All three Crab Cottages feature king beds throughout with the indoor living areas flowing out to very large decks. Those decks feature ceiling fans for the days when the breeze is off the land rather than the prevailing south east.

The Cottages are extremely well appointed throughout including air conditioning and fans and are fenced for your approved pet to enjoy their holiday with you. Each offers a full kitchen and private laundry as well as free Wifi. Please note the wifi can be unreliable in our little corner of the world so if you need it guaranteed best to make your own arrangements.

Complimentary off road boat parking is also available.

The property is professionally landscaped with hundreds of native plants and shrubs adding to the fantastic feel of the property.
The very much under utilised beach is a few steps over a quiet street and a cool, green, shady park a similar few paces. The beach offers leash free hours for your pup of 3pm to 8am (and they love it!) whilst the foreshore trees provide shade around the high tide mark.
At high tide this is a beautiful, safe swimming beach and at low tide the yabbie pumpers have a field day. Fishing and swimming at high tide and walking on the marina breakwater are popular pastimes.

Crab Cooker Cottage - River Heads
If ever a holiday home deserved the title `Gateway to Fraser Island¿ the extensively renovated Crab Cooker Cottage is it.
The cottage offers 3 large bedrooms all with king beds and ensuites, spacious living areas downstairs, several aircon units and an outlook comprising only shades of green and blue.
Passing traffic is minimal and mature shady trees occupy the front of the property.
The Fraser Island Boat ramp and barge lie about 800 metres away and the local shops 400 metres.
Hervey Bay airport and the town itself are 12-20 minutes by car depending which part of town is your destination.
There is plenty of room for your boat or RV to park off road and though your pet is welcome the property is not fenced.
