Our conveniently located private residence, that sleeps up to nine people in 4.5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms lies across the road from Urangan Beach. At high tide this is a beautiful, safe swimming beach with shade available above high water and at low tide the yabbie pumpers have a field day. The beach is leash free between 3pm to 8 am, perfect for walking the dog. It is very much under utilised except by locals. Fishing at high tide and walking on the marina breakwater are popular pastimes. The shady, cool, green reserve backing the beach offers BBQ and toilet facilities too, great for a game of footy or cricket.

The neighbourhood is very quiet with the nearest shopping centre and supermarket 1.5 km away. The Marina with bars, restaurants, The Hervey Bay Boat Club including a cinema are within walking distance. For the keen fisherman our 8 lane boat ramp is approximately 700m across the way. Whale watch (in season) day trips and other cruises all leave from the Marina and the Fraser Island barge leaves from River Heads about 20 minutes away. Most tourist operators offer free pick up and drop offs for their cruises.

The home is available for four or seven day visits from 1 September 2020 with shorter ones impractical owing to the housekeeping and linen cost. All linen is provided of course! There is plenty of off street boat and vehicle parking.
