The staff was great . The island is beautiful. The experience was fantastic, although we did not see whales we were notified before hand that the whales might not be here anymore, so we had and extra stop on the island, the tube was so much fun 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This tour out did my expectations - I assumed we might see a whale in the distance but we saw so many up close. They were out and about, playing and breaching, absolutely amazing experience. The visit to the island itself was also very special and activities such as snorkelling, kayaking and swimming in the beautiful water were great. The pick up/drop off to accommodation was super smooth, lunch and snacks on board were delish. Thanks to the team - Melanie, BJ and Cara.

With only 20 passengers on board and a friendly, efficient crew, the cruise was comfortable as well as educational. Plenty to see and do. We were lucky enough to view a pod of 3 adults and a sleeping calf right next to the boat. Made our day!

We had the best day ever with Tasman Venture. We were initially worried about the forecast of heavy rain but the crew went above and beyond to make sure that we have a great day anyway. We got all sorts of experiences in one day - whale watching, snorkeling, kayaking, tubing, it’s hard to pick which is the best because we enjoyed all of them. From the very start to the end we were spoilt. We were picked up from our accommodation in their courtesy bus by the awesome Katie, straight to the marina where we met our crew for the day, skipper Lloyd, host Mel and crew BJ, Carolina and Jen. Straight away we felt that we were cruising with friends, not just another tour guides. Mel was a fantastic host, supplying us with knowledge of the whales and other sea life, as well as information about K'gari (Fraser) Island, her enthusiasm when the whales and dolphins were spotted was infectious!!! When the tour itinerary says full day, that's exactly what we got. A full day of whale watching, kayaking through mangroves - thanks Jen did not know about the yellow leaves or the importance of mangroves to our ecosystem - snorkelling and tubing, finishing with a trek up a sand dune where we saw THE most amazing views. All activities were included in the tickets, as was morning (variety of bickies and slices) and afternoon (cheese, crackers and kabana) tea and lunch (freshly prepared salads, chicken and cold meats). Were even able to have coffee, a couple beers and ciders 😄. Once we got back to the mainland, the amazing Katie was there ready to take back home. We will be back!!

Melanie, BJ, Tam and Cobby were amazing hosts on fantastic day out. Meeting at 7.15am, we were soon out on the look for whales. They agenda was adjusted as we came across whales early on and saw endless sights of whales double breaching, mothers and calves eetc.we could not have hoped for better. We then did activities, kayaking through mangroves, snorkelling and tubing, all included within the tickets. There were no chargeable extras, no choosing between activities, we did them all. We then had a buffet lunch, great salads, BBQ chicken, sliced meats etc. We then climbed the sands for great views of the bay, which was hard work, but worth it if you are able. Then a swim in a fresh water creek. The team were great, have been on a lot of tours and this is the friendliest team I have come across. They were focussed on the day and the experience, not the timetable. A fantastic day and would definitely.book again. Don't do just half day whales, book this trip. Thanks Rebecca for a great day.

One of the best tours we've ever done. Such a fantastic day on both water and land. We saw so many whales, dolphins, turtles and a couple of dingoes. The day is a great mix of snorkelling, kayaking, whale watching and exploring parts of K'gari (Fraser Island). The team aboard Tasman Venture are friendly, knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble. I was impressed that they catered really well for my dietary requirements, and it's their attention to detail that shines. We would definitely do this tour again.

This is one of the best boat trips we have done. It’s so much fun and the staff were great. My 14 year old son loved it all from the whales, tubing, exploring, the food, being on the tender boat. There is something for everyone. I enjoyed the glass of bubbly whilst watching the amazing whales and calf’s. My husband enjoyed a snorkel and we all enjoyed the walk up the dunes. Let’s not forget the kayaking through the mangroves in the untouched part of K’gari. We honestly loved every minute. Can’t recommend it enough. We certainly be back again

Amazing crew, great day of fun with a lot of activities, snorkeling, whale watching, tubing, canoeing and climbing sand dunes. Food was great. Will be coming back again!!!
